Samuel Kabini Karanja
Kabini holds B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Mechatronic Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, JKUAT (Kenya) and is registered as a professional Mechatronic Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronic Engineering, JKUAT and his research interests are non-conventional Manufacturing, Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), and machine design.
James Wamai Mwangi
Wamai holds BSc and MSc degrees in Mechatronic Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, JKUAT (Kenya) as well as a doctorate Degree in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany). He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronic Engineering, JKUAT and his research interests are in the manufacturing sector with special interest in machining of novel materials using non-conventional machining methods, as well as additive manufacturing.
Henriette Zeidler
Henriette holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Leipzig (Germany) and has been conducting cross-cultural research in Africa for the last 10 years. Following a long-term position at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, she has recently been organizing and running behavioural studies in Kenya for the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), Aston University (UK), and the University of California at Berkeley (USA). She is also a qualified language teacher (DaF, Herder-Institut Leipzig) with more than two decades of teaching experience.
